In February, clarinetist Lauren Murphy and her trio, International Counterpoint, premiered “Bluish Orange” at Georgia State University. Below is the recording of the premiere performance. In May, the trio will be going to the recording studio to do another recording of this piece.

Aaron will be performing the premiere of his new work “Rec(over)y” for clarinet and live electronics on May 1st at the University of Missouri. Upcoming projects include a new work for violin, clarinet and piano commissioned by Wesley Warnhoff. In addition, he is writing a piece for soprano saxophone, bass clarinet, violin and cello to be premiered at New Music on the Point in June. Following that, Aaron will be attending the Brevard Music Festival.
