Aaron recently performed the premiere of his own piece “Rec(over)y” for clarinet and live electronics at the University of Missouri.
International Counterpoint, who commissioned “Bluish Orange” earlier this year, did a studio recording of the piece in April.
Upcoming projects include a new work for violin, clarinet and piano commissioned by Wesley Warnhoff. In addition, he is writing a piece for soprano saxophone, bass clarinet, violin and cello to be premiered at New Music on the Point in June. Following that, Aaron will be attending the Brevard Music Festival.
